Here is Mike’s Story. After travelling to Africa in his youth and participating in Otesha’s 2007 Sunshine Coast tour, Mike felt a growing desire to understand his food and how to grow it. He moved to Ottawa and interned on an organic farm, traveled on his bicycle and volunteered at other farms, and now runs his own: Steel Pony farm in Alberta.
